Wonton Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie plus Nutella Recipe.
blog challenge. Mainly because I have way too much going in my life, and that
plus working overnight I barely have time for myself. I will continue to blog
about the challenge but it as you can tell it won’t be an everyday thing.
Whenever I can get a chance to blog I will do so. This blog today I will be
sharing with you a recipe I found for Wonton Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie. So here it
is & I hope you enjoy.
- Wonton wrappers
- Cooking Spray
- 3/4 cup pumpkin
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp Nutella
- 1 tbsp cinnamon and sugar for topping
As you can tell from the above ingredients I tweaked it a bit to what I like. I added Nutella to the ingredients because I love it. I mean its chocolate, who doesn’t love it?! Also I used regular cream cheese because I can taste a difference in the low fat kind.
As you can see from the picture I used tin foil because I did not have cooking spray, I would recommend to stick with cooking spray. For me the won-tons tended to stick to the tin foil, next time I make this I will make sure to have cooking spray handy. Trial & Error, right?
Cooking time: 20 minutes.
Step 1. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.
Step 2. Mix the pumpkin, cream cheese, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, & Nutella into a large mixing bowl. Whisk them all together until there are little to no clumps.
Step 3. Spray the baking sheet with cooking spray and lay out the won-tons. Scoop one tsp of the mixture into the center of each won-ton. Then fold the won-tons over into a triangle shape and then with some water on your fingers, wet the edges of the won-tons.
Step 4. Put the tray into the oven and halfway through [10 minutes] take the tray out and flip them over. Then put the tray back into the oven.
Step 5. (Optional, but recommended) When there is about 2 minutes left, take out the tray and sprinkle the cinnamon & sugar on top of the won-tons and then put the tray back in for 2-3 more minutes. This will give the cinnamon & sugar time to caramelize.
After that is all said & done, take them out, let them cool down & hello yummyness!!
My Trial & Error: Like I said before cooking spray is much better than tin foil. Also after eating the deliciousness, next time I make them I am planning on drizzling the Nutella on top of the won-tons once they cool down a bit, and putting just a little less nutella inside the won-ton. I say that because as I was biting into the won-tons the sweetness from the top of them combined with the pumpkin cheesecake filling inside was like biting into a piece of heaven! It was absolutely, perfectly layered!
If you make these please share it with me! I would love to see how your’s turn out and what ideas you may have that are different to mine!
Share, comment and/or like!!
Would love to hear feedback!!
Until next time.. *kisses* xoxo

Oh man this sounds absolutely amazing! You are just so creative to use wonton wrappers, I have actually never done anything "sweet" with them before besides making wonton dumplings. Your recipe looks so easy and great to follow! Thanks for sharing!
