My Review:

I have always been fascinated with the gypsy culture which is why i was so excited to read this book. I was not disappointed at all. Any book with a strong willed, fierce lead female character is completely up my alley and Ms. Sammy Jo did not disappoint! She is as strong and bull headed as they come. She is a fighter to the end and would do anything for her family, even plan her Bridezilla of a sister’s wedding. This book is about fighting for what you believe in, even if it lands you into trouble. It’s about forbidden love and all the drama that comes along with it. I completely recommend you to read it because I do believe you will be just as intrigued as I was.

About the Author:

Kathryn lives in Leicester with her family, writing full time (and loves that!) Kathryn always wanted to become an author and wrote her first story at age eight. But it took quite a while and lots of different jobs before she got published.

She’s worked with gypsy and traveler children, working from a converted bus with a rainbow on the side, doing video and photography projects, and documenting travelling lives.

Mist draws on and is influenced by her work with this community.

She’s also written scripts for a local video production company, many of them for children and teenagers.
