My name is Angela, sole owner, and author of Healing With A (formally known as Blogging With A) and Poet of Beautifully Chaotic
I do not have any human kids, but I do have my fur baby, Jasper. He is a Yorkie, and he is my little cuddle bug, my little stinker.
If you don’t find me on the couch with a book in my hand, laptop on my lap, or binge watching my favorite shows with wine in my hand you will find me in the kitchen cooking or cleaning.
I am a coffee lover in the morning; a wine and whiskey girl at night.
Photography has been a de-stressing habit of mine that I have grown to love. I love taking things that may seem broken, chaotic, or just plain ugly and turning them into a beautiful story.
Anything else about me you can find by heading over to My Story.
But before you do so, below are some FAQ’s that I’m constantly being asked that I would like to share with you all.
Why did I start this blog?
When I originally started ‘Blogging With A’ my focus was to be an influencer, reviewing products for different companies. Sharing my thoughts on items from clothing and books to food and whiskey. As time went on my focus started to change slightly as I went through some personal issues. I started trying to rebrand ‘Blogging With A’ into Healing With A.
What do I want this blog to be about?
I want this blog to be about helping others who have gone through or maybe currently going through anxiety, depression or even abuse. I want them to know they are not alone and that there is a way to come back from it. I am not going to lie, it’s not as easy as 1-2-3, but it does get easier. I started Healing With A so I can show you all what it took for me to start healing from within. I hope by sharing the tools I used, that it may help others. I stopped letting anxiety take full control over me and started focusing on what de-stresses me.
Let this page be a beacon of light for those who are afraid to step out of the darkness. I understand that my way of recovering from the darkness may not be the same for everyone else. I just hope reading about my struggles, and how it changed me, will help others find their own path. I still want to be that influencer I had always aspired to be, but in a better way to help others.
